Many thanks martin. I'll look out a bit of string and boil/starsan it prior to use.
I'm feeling some trepidation about the whole process as I am worried that the secondary fermenter may have some scratches in it that starsan may not get to.
Secondary fermenter and batch priming
Re: Secondary fermenter and batch priming
Halfway through.
I transferred to secondary to dry hop on tuesday night.
Currently chilling in the brew fridge prior to bottling on Sunday.

Re: Secondary fermenter and batch priming
I had a bit of a disaster on Sunday night when transferring to the bottling bucket.
I took the end cap off the autosyphon and covered it with a muslin bag.
I couldn't get the syphon to work so I reckon I must have oxidised a couple of litres. I took the end out, removed the bag and fitted the end cap back on and it went like a rocket.
It was only the following day that I remembered that I moved 5l of starsan through it with the end cap and muslin bag in place 10 minutes prior to transferring the beer without an issue.
Doh
