seems to be a bad link ?
Worked now!! good price for a neat looking box.
Compared with STC 1000 V1.1 which does the same job this may well hit the v1.1 sales.
I would still prefer a hacked STC 1000 v1 but sems they are thin on the ground now.

Couple of issues:
Both sockets are wired together
It is limited to 2000W, so no 2.2/2.4Kw elements on it.

But yes good price.

I can't work out the amps wheather it would take a fridge and heating tube all at once

So you'd have to plug in fridge first then unplug then plug in heater and repeat

It will happily run a fridge, hot OR cold, unless you have a massive heater in it. (Fridge is <100W and heaters are normally the same)
As I said it will only run ONE output even though there is 2 sockets. (both are connected together). So not quite as useful as an stc.
You MAY get away with it running a kettle element but ... you pays your money and takes your chances.
If someone gets one and opens it we can see if the output could be upped by changing the relay.

Indeed. Might be okay if you wanted to put your electric shaver on a thermostat, not sure I would want 2KW up them.

When running a fridge does not draw a lot of current . . . when the compressor starts up they can draw up to 10A ;)
