hi, new to the site so hope i have posted this in the right place.
I have a flash cooler and it was working fine the last time i used it- admittedly over a year ago!. come to set the cooler up and as soon as it is plugged in it trips the power. it doesnt make any noise or anything.
Im not the most electrically minded although i have opened it up and all the wires appear in order. Any suggestions
cheers ac

Re: help - flash cooler not working
sounds like an earth fault, could be damp in the motor windings, could be a damaged cable or even an incorrectly wired plug

Re: help - flash cooler not working
you realy need a megger to test as a normal multimeter dont kick out enough volts to test properly.Leave the compressor somewhere warm and dry for a few days and give it another trychecked ohm resistance and if it was earthing re compressor and both ok
