Would this be any good for pumping cool wort?

Post by guypettigrew » Sun Mar 08, 2015 11:30 am

Would this drill attachment be any good for pumping cool wort into my fermenting vessel, do you think?

The wort will have to go from a bucket on the floor to a height of about 2 metres.

The ad doesn't say what it's made of and the Woolfcraft site is of no use.

If it's no good what else can anyone suggest, please?

Thanks.

Can't see pic but loads of brewers use 12v solar pumps with speed controllers.

IF it is food/potable water safe then yes, otherwise no.

Well that's the only issue; whether or not it is food grade. Otherwise it looks like a pretty good pump.
Best wishes
