Syphon Tap

Post by danwlx » Sun Apr 12, 2015 6:55 pm

Hi all,

I've just picked up a SS racking cane which requires 3/8" tubing. I have always used a plastic tap when syphoning with narriwer tubing, I start the flow, then shut the tap and attach a new clean section to the tap before opening into the fv. I'm struggling to find a plastic tap to fit this tubing, does anyone know where I can find one ?

Cheers
Dan

To attach 1/4" id tube to the 3/8" od SS tube use a mug of off the boil water to warm up the tube and a spotlessly clean pair of long nosed pliers to push in the warm softer tube and open it up enough to slip it over the slightly larger SS tube ;) might take a few attempts but its do-able ..
