Is this correct please need to no filter height

Guys I have a new boiler but I need to no if the filter height is correct, it looking about 3cm but when I fill it up to the hole, it take 4 liters, is this correct it's a lot to me, is the hole to high! Need to no if I have to contact the seller and say if it wrong,
How can this be its a 56L pot, but I'm only brewing up for 20L FG, what difference between brewing up half a pot or full boil I'll still be out on 3/4 liters out, that's with the hops in the base of the pot after, if its got a filter in the bottom then why is the filter not on the base of the pot???

By buffalo 40l tap is maybe 2cm from the base and I use a similar filter to you. There will be a dump load of trub and hop material from the boil in there. Should be fine. When draining I angle the boiler and get most/all wort out. If worried you could use a 90degree pickup to lower the filter though...

Do you use brewing software? E.g., you dial in your kettle size and desired volume into the fermenter and it will account for kettle to fermenter loss etc

I brew to 25l into the fermenter but use maybe 33liters total water, the 8 liters are absorbed in grain, absorbed in hops, lost in kettle trub etc.
