Kettle Element

I've been given one of these but it came with no instructions, I was wondering what size hole I need to drill. Also the rubber seal as a thick side and a thin size, which way round should this go. Cheers

Those are precisely the type of elements I use. 1500W. I use two at a time- provides some redundancy and peace of mind though a single element struggles to create a good rolling boil. Make sure you "adjust" the heat trip (just take the white pin out) otherwise the element cycles on and off.

No idea what size hole it was, I just measured it and used the appropriate size hole cutter from the collection. Sorry!

its a 38mm 1.5inch hole you need same as the £5 kettle elements
