Would a 2000watt one of these be suitable for a 70 litre stainless steel pot. And if so or they easy to fit and wire up. Thanks

That's a small element (power wise) for a big pot. I'm running 3kw for 20L brews in a 50L pot and even then this AM it was a bit painful watching the water get to temperature. In a 70 litre pot you'ld be doing what 40L? I think you'ld need about 3 of them if you go for 2kw elements! I'd go for 2*3kw for that length brew. Although the power in my shed is limited to 13A so I'd be forced to go gas for that length.

As above it would take forever for the 2 kw element I'd go for the 4kw it's what I use in my 100l brewery works a treat although you'd need a 32 A socket installed as 3kw is max on a standard socket and that's pushing it on a brew day.

I would recommend 2 x £5 kettle (Wilko, tesco, asda etc) elements. The rubber seal in the kettle makes them easy to fit.
