Shank help
Shank help
Hi, can anyone shed some light as to what size this John guest fitting may be, the tap shank and fitting all came as one unit so I do not know the size, I have measured it and its 7/8" all day long but the John guest website says they don't even make that size fitting, if it helps the tap is a perlick 650 ss, I need the new John guest fitting as the other has cracked due to over tightening.

Re: Shank help
Beer tap fitting if English will normally be 1/2" bsp, if American they will most likely be American Beer thread which is 5/8"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Standard_Pipe
5/8 = 22/3mm across the male part.
so if you have measured 7/8 = 22.225mm
