Hi Just wondering has anyone experience of these controllers?
I am using one however it seems to have gone into heat mode rather than cool mode. If I set the desired temp it only kicks in when the desired temp is highter than the actual temp.
Im trying to cool the fermentation temps
I've downloaded the guide however I cant make heads or tails of it
Thanks

Re: CB100 Temp controller
one of these http://www.rkcinst.co.jp/english/pdf_ma ... cb34e1.pdf ??
why did you select one of those over a stc1000? its for industrial air conditioning, a pid controller designed to derive the optimum energy use, some of us use similar pid controllers to control HLT heat up, probably saving 2p per brew if its set up correctly
looking at one of the pdfs associated with this non trivial engineering device it states if settings are set outside expected boundaries it can have unexpected results, so pouring over each and every setting working its meaning and relevance out and ensuring its set correctly is crucial.
or spend £15 or less on an stc1000
sorry cant help more..
