Quick question, as the beer doesn't normally make contact with the O rings, do they have to be food safe?

I know they are cheap anyway but I was just wondering!

I think as most would buy a complete set of orings it a no brainer / if you accidently tip a keg etc....., some will come in contact more than others + if you are using any cleaning compounds Silicone is not liable to spoil in use.
