Evening all
I have a fermentersaurus and I've acquired a Wilko Newkie Brown kit. Not done a kit in years and always used a bucket to stir the syrup with some boiling water.
Anyone tried beer kits in conical fermenters? Bit worried the fermentersaurus will warp if I add boiling water as it's just PET, and I have no idea how I'd manage to stir it!
Any thoughts?

Re: Beer kit in conical
I make my kit up in a big pan and add some cold water. Then I add 5 litres of cold water to the fermentasaurus before pouring my mix in and topping up. Seems to work well for me.
