I did not get the heat sink from Farnel I did try but they would not send to a different address other than that where the card was registered to (being the first order) ordered some on fleabay (£5.36 ea) suited for the SSR but received an email stating that they were out of stock but they have had them sent out from China, canceled that order and ordered the same ones from China myself (£1.75 ea delivered) and 0.99p for 30g of compound delivered...? :? I am in no hurry have a busy scedule for the next couple of weeks anyway. :)

Nice, where did you get your rotary switches from ? Im making a small design change to mine to give more pump control and i need some rotary switches. Nice move on the heatsinks. If you can wait 2 to 3 weeks China is the way forward - i heve some great new connectors to replace my DINs...10 connectors and plugs for £7 including delivery.....

Every time I come back to this thread I always think... That is what building a brewery is like when you don't cut any corners or make compromises!

Nothing happening with the pilot kit but the brewhouse/storage has finally started to take shape after a months delay due to cowboy outfit trying to offload not fit for purpose flooring.

Can't see any heatsinks under your SSR, hope you are okay using the backplate as a heatsink.
The reliability of these SSR things benefit from selecting an over-rated current unit and over rated heatsink.
