I have a couple of wooden jam spoons from Wilkinsons.
They are made of solid beech are just over 16" have a useful hook to hang over the side of mash tun. And cost £2.50p.
They are called Tala preserving spoon.

If 16" is long enough for your tun then a great bargain.
