They are! Even if you are bottling Belgians or wheat beers at 3 - 4 volumes of CO2, no foaming. Unlike Lee I've never found the need to drop the pressure using my Pegas unit, the Pegas Steel, a slightly more upmarket version of the budget model. The downside for the steel is that I can't fit a tap to the front, but a simple T in the beer line solves that issue. The upside is that the bottle mount is easily exposed, so I can add a different support to cope with different bottles, from screw cap PETS (its original design), crown cap PETS, glass crown caps, Glass swingtops, and even 750ml Belgian and champagne bottles.
