Thank you I would like to find out if I can use my 100 litre pot as a boil kettle using induction and he might be able to shed some light on this

what happened to the pot with the hidden element built into its base JL?? did the element over heat or ???

No I still have it and it still works although I did have to re wire it as the steel box containing the connector was too close to the heat source and the connectors melted . however I then moved it away from the base and it still works.
My post here is because as you build you learn,bit like them space engineer's who spend years figuring out (and lot's of money) how to get to a place in space only to then quote their previous engineer's, "ups" . Soo this pot came my way and it got me tinkyng
