How did you connect them together or is it just friction fit?
Just asked the same question however if you have two together I am planning to line the pots with a roll of stainless mesh inside push stainless bolts through the holes and this will keep the mesh in place and help keep the two together. Once this is lined I will make an oversized circular base fold roughly to size and push it to the bottom. Hopefully the springiness of the mesh will keep it in place.
That's the plan anyway, let's see what happens!

Friction fit :-) used the pedestal drill as a press to use the top one to widen the bottom one slightly once I'd removed it's rim. Once that was done & the top one didn't need as much structural strength now it wasn't a die I took them apart again & cut the bottom out of the top one.

They seem pretty secure but the sock will hold them together should heat expansion cause them to detach.

Two tall ones was to high to stretch my socks over, and too deep for my kettle.

Cheers, not got a pedestal drill, so will have to rely on brute force and a piece of wood.
Reckoned that 2 large ones will fit my GF nicely. If I need to I could always cut a slot in the top one to go into the bottom one more.

Well knocked it up yesterday.
Took about 20+ cutting disc's to remove the bottom & top edge.
Then I couldn't get them to mesh, to I linked them using some wire.
Covered with my hop spider mesh, and into the GF today.

2 large ones still leave some space on the GF. This is boiling 26L of wort, and you can see it is well down the 1st canister. The muslin got a bit torn last time I used it on the spider will need to replace it next time. Held in place with the same large jubilee clip I had on the spider.

Did the wort boil in the hop spider as well as in the rest of the boiler? When I've tried this before using a BIAB bag, the wort below the bag was boiling furiously but the stuff inside the bag was merely simmering.
Never enough time...

Not quite as well but I left my spoon stood up in there so could stir regularly and because they were firmly pushed together could really squeeze them out with it once suspended after the wort was chilled.

I never actually noticed. There was wort flowing (hops moving about) so I just assumed it was all boiling.
