My advice would be to take Deller up on his offer of making some for you?
I had these made at 50mm OD with 40mm iD from 1.2mm Stainless in the post today sent FOC. Hope this solves you problem.

Happy Brewing

Thread diameter 39.42, OD of body 47.38, thread length no wahers 10mm.

So in theory 8mm diameter difference between the two, therefore if you have cut a 45mm hole + 8mm = 53mm od washer required in say 1.5mm or 1mm stainless, internal diameter 40mm.

Only my recommendation, should work?

Hi guys,

I'd like to ask you, how do you actually tighten these KM8 lock nuts? Do they require a special tool?

Cheers

have you got any old bicycle multi spanners the type pressed out of sheet steel?? if so check them out, some have lugs for turning similar nuts securing the pedal bearing hub (dont know the real name), and while not ideal can be used to give that extra torque needed to seal..
ist update for months n months..
Fermnting: not a lot..

Maturing: Challenger smash, and a kit lager

So over 2 years on did the OP solve the problem, or did they just grab what they could knowledge wise & get a freebie washer set and then just p155 off, without reporting back

Yes there are plenty of ungracious and discourteous people about.
Best wishes
