Does anyone have one of these at all? Was just looking at their 100L version but wondered on the build quality and any ideas on prices?

Cheers

There build quality is first rate, as the 'home brew' models, are just scaled down versions of their commercial offerings. They did have a 25L (advertised as 20L) listed on Ebay, awhile ago for around £400, so for a 100L, I guess you'll be looking at around £600 ?

Thanks Darren - am having a bit of a rethink about my kit at the minute (being relocated to the garage, upsizing, going to propane, etc) - so good to know what my options are before buying the more mundane stuff like a bigger kettle! :)

Do they make a water Jacketed 50 liter version?

Ooh, sexy... Still not clear if the homebrew-sized ones have cooling jackets though, and I certainly ain't interested if they don't.

Very very nice, and +1 to £ouch! Though having been into photography in the past I guess its all relative (all that shinyness looks astoundingly good value compared to things like lenses).

I would 'really' like one or two of these conicals, but I think my next step will be a nordic stock pot; maybe when that wears out though...

Oh, I'm sure you could - but it would cost more than the FV even before you get into running costs.

I got quote's and drawing's for conical's insulated with cooling jacket's, but with the bad quality rumour's and the cost of shipping being more than the fermenter itself I gave up.. The only way of doing it is buying a few and a crate! $800 for a 50L..

Is that shipping from China you're talking about?

From US and A you can get:
http://brewhemoth.com/tri-clover-brewhemoth-chiller

Converted to £ and adding VAT = £458! ... only 83L though.

Nice idea about shipping a few together though, I'm in!
