Stand For Thermopot Boiler

Post by Mr. Dripping » Wed Jun 04, 2014 2:18 pm

Hopefully you guys can help with a bit of an issue I've got.
I've had to move brewsheds.....long story short; the SS catering table that I use to stand my boiler on cannot now be removed from the shed. So I need a compact table, possibly a folding one, that is capable of safely supporting an 80 litre thermopot of boiling wort.
I've googled and searched but have not been able to find anything really.
If anyone could suggest something I'd be grateful.....maybe someone is able to fabricate something for a reasonable cost??

TIA :)

Height is probably a little low....400mm from the floor......would prefer something at least 600mm.
I will see what else crops up; but they are a possibility if I can't find anything else.

That looks a better solution vancant....thank you.
Room to arrange the plate chiller alongside and collapsable too......perfect.
It will even come in useful for other more mundane tasks about the place. Great :D

Whatever you get, let us know how it works out as I could do with something less embarrassing. My brew-bench consists of kitchen work surface cut-out (double-drainer size, saved from 1982) over two upturned plastic dustbins (saved from when recycling started a few years back).

I had to resort to something similar at the weekend. There is a Screwfix not so far from me, so I'll pick one up before next brewday.

Just to point out that the screwfix platform is only 480mm tall, as you said you wanted 600mm height min. - the 600 refers to the length.

You probably knew that already though.
