Hi guys,

I would like to ask your opinion or if anyone has any experience with those conical fermenters from Poland:

Cheers

Haven't heard of them before but would be very interested to find out more. They will probably be a not dissimilar price to the plastic conical tanks most people have converted to fermenters.

I don't know anything about them but for £135.76 + Free Shipping at 80L capacity, I'm seriously thinking of giving it a go. I have a Polish colleague at work who is into home brewing, I'll see if they know anything.

Cheers.

I don't think they deliver to the UK yet but I'm going to ask my Polish colleague to ring him and find out what can be arranged.

Maybe it would be a good idea to place a few orders together and get some discount?

Just had them translate it for me and they said there is an option for free shipping abroad but on another page it says they don't ship abroad so she will call them tomorrow.

I'd be interested in what they have to say too.

Same here, I checked shipping costs and by courier on road express it works out £25 - £30 for 30kg, no import charges or custom duties.

I contacted them yesterday and asked how long shipping to the UK would take and was told 5 days. If you put the eBay item number into eBay UK it gives a delivery price of £29. I'm going to order one this weekend. Just need a stand, but I'm sure I can make something suitable.

If you actually look on eBay.com they have an online store where they sell both with and without the stand and the cost difference is minimal.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Conical-Ferment ... 1e8ba7d7de

$173 for the conical: £103.01
$66 Shipping: £39.30
Total: £142.31

And that's with the stand.

Any ideas where we can find similar stands in UK? It can save £30...
