Hi
Just thought I would post a pic of my recent kegerator/ keezer build for anyone that has little width space. The kegerator/ keezer has space for 2 corny kegs.
Width 13.5", height 43", depth 21.5"
The donor freezer is a slim line norfrost I purchased used on gumtree for £20

That's great. Nice paint job. I used the same norfrost freezer for my kegerator, it's a tight fit! I also use it as a fermenting fridge using the 25l water cubes from go outdoors. Got a saaz lager in there now brewing! Here's a shot of the top from last night.

Oh the company norfrost went into admin last year but I think they could be out of it again! Made in Scotland apparently!

I plan on brewing my 1st lager shortly as I have discovered you can ferment using a spare corny keg therefore I will still have space for beer on tap whilst the lager is fermenting for a month.
Do you still have space for a keg whilst using the 25l water cube?

Alas I do not. Have to go with out it on tap whilst brewing until I have room for another fridge. The perlick are a thing of beauty and well worth the price. I like the cap remover on your right hand side, can I ask where u got it from?

Hi...Could any users of this freezer please tell me the noise level coming from it.This freezer could be the answer to my prayers for a kegerator

but it would have to go in a bedroom and if it is too noisy it will be a non starter.

Err I can hear it when it's on, wouldn't be great in a bedroom (although probably very convenient!). A solution could be to plug the entire thing into a timer before the stc-1000 so that it doesn't come on at night, the beer shouldn't warm up much and it would level itself out again in the morning when it switches on.

Thanks for the reply. That timer idea could be a option, also do you need to build a collar for it or would a two tap beer tower bolt onto the lid of it.

Needed to build a collar, cornies were too tall plus it gives you space to run the pipes. The perlick a were from America, expensive with shipping and import tax but worth every penny for no stuck taps and no funking up as they are forward sealing.
