Look for a 120 mesh I use that for my hop filters which suits pellet hops.

What size would you recommend for whole leaf?

I used muslin hop bags for my first pellet hop brew. The filter still clagged up and I was not a hoppy bunny. I think putting a s/s mesh around the hop filter will be my next attempt. That or give my nelson sauvin and cascade pellets to someone who would return the favour with leaf hops.

The best I've seen are from the homebrew shop. They sell hop bags 24" X 24 for6 pounds. I use this material to make a hop spider and no pellet material gets through the mesh. The bag is quite thick nylon.

Cheers for all the suggestions , so that I can get myself up and brewing again, I `ve ordered a pre made hop spider. I have also ordered some SS mesh to experiment with (albeit I was originally going down the fabric route).
