Drilled out tank connectors?

Post by bigdave » Sat Aug 30, 2014 6:03 pm

I know a few hb shops sell drilled out tank connectors but I wondered if there's much demand for them?

I'm only asking because I've bought a drill bit to do my new boiler with, it's saved me a ton of time filing, so I wondered if there was much demand / if anyone wanted one drilling out?

N.B. Im not offering to sell these things... just if you were going to buy one, I could call as screwfix/wicks etc.. on the way home from work, drill it out and post it on.

Most brass tank connectors have a collar inside that stops you feeding a copper pipe through (meaning no hop stopper etc..).

I used a nipple instead and 2 lock nuts no drilling required.
