Anyone speak italian?

Post by Goosey » Thu Oct 30, 2014 3:05 pm

I've just seen this: http://www.polsinelli.it/shop/impianti- ... r-500.html

But what I don't understand is: why is the mash tun not insulated? Is it meant to keep temerature by the gas heater? Why is there a seperate sparging vessel (If I have understood it correctly) and no HLT/copper? Or is the 500 litre container the copper?

:?

That site has an English version.

Linky

EDIT: Unfortunately, though, that particular piece of kit is only on the Italian site.

If you're using google chrome you can just right click on the page and choose "translate to english" from the drop down menu. It's not a perfect translation but you get enough of an idea. The two 500L vessels are the mash tun and copper. The 300L is the HLT. Not sure about the lack of mash tun insulation. Looks like a serious piece of kit. Those burners will eat through gas like there's no tomorrow.

Yep, or paste the web site address into the google translate web site if you don't have chrome.
