I am building a Plastic (Polypropylene) boiler for BIAB brewing and I am just considering the use of a pizza tray false bottom.
I was thinking that if I needed to adjust the temperature and/or mash out during the mash, then I'll need to keep the bag off the elements.
My question is whether standard stainless steel bolts are OK in a plastic boiler or would nylon bolts be better.
Thanks - as always.

Stainless won't react with plastic or wort . What is the pizza tray made from?
Re: Bolts as legs for pizza tray false bottom
Not sure what it's made of.
It's this one http://www.wilko.com/baking-trays+roast ... vt/0254135.
I was mainly worried about the stainless steel damaging the plastic I suppose.

I was asking the same sort of question a bit ago and was advised not to use a tray like this. I can get them cheap at work so thought i was laughing but its made from carbon sumat or other. Havnt come across any stainless steel trays
