The lock nut for the element on my Peco ELectric boiler element has split.
I know it's a M40 thread and I have googled it but cannot find anyone supplying them. There are lots of of flat ones on ebay but a different shape and I am not sure they will work, they also come in packs of 25!
Does anyone know where can I get one?
Many thanks.

Re: Replacement Peco Element m40 lock nut
I've no specific experience with the peco boiler, but the threaded kettle elements I've had in the past have taken KM8 bearing nuts which are an M40x1.5 thread. Googling for "KM8 nut" may be of use.

Re: Replacement Peco Element m40 lock nut
Thanks for the help gents.
The Angel ones were working out quite expensive with the P&P charges.
I had emailed Peco asking them if they supplied them and then found a cable gland nut on ebay that had a M40 1.5 pitch thread on ebay for £3 delivered. It was also 5mm thick so it should do the job quite well.
Then the very nice chaps at Peco emailed me and said they would send out a replacement free of charge. Good service!
At least I will have a spare now.
