Recommend me a mill

Post by Yosh » Tue Mar 10, 2015 11:03 am

Can someone recommend me a good mill. I read in another forum someone recommended getting a roller mill from the start. I'm happy to get a hand one but would like to be able to bodge a drill on to it and run it the lazy man way in the future.

How does this one look?

I got the Bulldog mill just after Christmas and have been very happy with it. Doesn't take long to get through 4kg of grain by hand and it came with a drill adapter. Used a feeler gauge to set it to 1mm (I think) and my efficiency has been the same as when I used crushed grain.

That looks just the job and a fair price. Thanks

Yes, I also got one of those and after working out how to put it together (the instructions are a bit minimalist) it was all fine :) Nice bit of kit- hope spares are easy to come by- my drill adaptor appears to have gone awol.

Using a Monster Mill - MM2
Very pleased as it goes thru 12/13kg grain in 10mins with a cordless Dewalt driving it.

Now busy planning to motorise the beast.
