Had to hunt around for clear wine bottles and the cheapest I came up with was Dorset Homebrew
15 bottles for £10.75
Also for x3- 15ltr buckets I paid-£13.99 from Ebay
If you know of any place cheaper please let me know

Thank you so much Tesco it is from now on
Bins well erm I don't think my husband would enjoy hunting in them, he did ask at our local skip and they came up with nothing.
Chester a lovely place, going to Chester Zoo again in August, going all over the North areas for holidays, husband from Newton Lee Willows.

My local pub saved me about 100 or so Magners bottles for beer and about 30 wine bottles. Worth asking.

1. Ask family and friends to keep empties
or
2. local bottle bank after a holiday date of some sort. - After new years day, or Valentines or similar go to the bottle bank, so many people have taken in their emptioes the bins are full and they get left there in bags. Sunday morning is great! the council will turn up on Monday and clear the lot but get in before 'em and the worlds your oyster! I got 30 300ml bud bottles for my Imperial Stout this way.

I work in an office full of middle aged women. Wine bottles are not in short supply!

Glass bins are also a good source of heavy glass bottles should you feel like making hefty belgian ales or champagne...

Friends are spirit drinkers not wine lovers, will keep an eye out as we have lots of bottle bins.
