STC 1000 TEMP CONTROLLER

Hi all
Just bought one of these off cqout on this forum
I would like to extend the length of the probe to at least 2m
Anybody done this and how ( cable looks the same as speaker cable ?)

I think someone has asked before and the answer was yes use a simular cable, and just check the temp reading. Which you can offset in the menu if needed.
