I use a wedge type supplied by Powell brewing for around 15 quid. Works fantastically with leaf hops

Leaf or pellet hops ?
I have s braided filter from Angel homebrew, more surface area than a bazooka

Leaf manly but might use pellets now and again, will just put them in bags , I did look at the blickmen hop stop but didn't know how it connects

This one from Homebrew builder would suit perfectly.
I have the smaller version and it drains all but the last 150ml from the boiler.

I have the smaller one of those, and it is amazing with leaf, but blocks with pellets. Big mesh bags solve that problem though.
Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast, Seaweed, Blood, Sweat, The swim bladder of a sturgeon, My enemies tears, Scenes of mild peril, An otter's handbag and Riboflavin.
Re: Hop filtering in here kettles
I've got a long bazooka screen and it works fine with leaf hops, haven't used any pellets yet. Main issue with my set-up was I've got the bazooka right down on the floor with some right angle bends to allow the take-off to be higher up on the side of the boiler. Issue is the boiling wort doesn't get to the valve (in fact only cooled wort does) so it's a veritable breeding ground for nasties... I have to take it all apart each time. Which is a pain with so many junctions...
