Hi
I want to attach a regulator to a barrel (Kingkeg or beer sphere). The idea is to be able to use the CO2 bulbs and control the release of CO2 rather than dispense the entire bulb each time.
Can anybody share some experience here?
CO2 regulator on barrel
Re: CO2 regulator on barrel
If you could fit a Corny keg gas post like this:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/UP100-Bulkhead ... 0EK9EJNFN8
you could then use one of these:

It's not something I've done myself - I use Corny kegs or bottles - but I do have one of these mini-regulators for use with a 5L growler I have. It does a job, but I do find that the CO2 bulb seems to empty even when I'm not dispensing. I suspect the seal round the neck of the CO2 bulb is imperfect.

Re: CO2 regulator on barrel
You might be better off converting the gas inlet on the barrel to one which takes the larger S30 cylinders. Then you can add as much or as little CO2 as you want.
