Might be worth giving it a dry (wet?) run in advance. Cooker hoods aren't very efficient at extracting steam.

It's an 81 bottle bottle tree. I think that I was conned because i've had it ten years and it has never fruited
Maybe it needs to be right on top of the kettle. Our microwave hood is only 400 CFM and extracts the steam perfectly when I’m brewing but less so when boiling pasta in a stock pot.guypettigrew wrote: ↑Fri Jun 18, 2021 9:12 pmMight be worth giving it a dry (wet?) run in advance. Awesome build, really coming together nicely. Just been out to my plain boring shed to tell it to pull its socks up.
Yes, the window swings open upwards and I will have a couple of stays to hold it fully open. A wide shelf will be installed at sill height on the inside so that I can sit on my bar stool with a beer and watch the world go by.bryanferry wrote: ↑Wed Jun 23, 2021 2:38 pmAwesome build, really coming together nicely. Are those hinges on the pub side window so it'll fully open?
