What size batches are you making with that? It's 25l right?

I understand it holds 25l comfortably prolly maxes out 30+

This not the latest model and anyway it was not manufactured for making beer. The clue is in in the suppliers name. Still Spirits !!

It boils water. Is that somehow different if you use it for beer?

I guess it means you need to add a hop filter device, and perhaps a new tap, in which case perhaps you might as well buy a burco or similar which is cheaper and may have a more powerful element?
