[solved]Pressure regulator connection
[solved]Pressure regulator connection
Hope someone can help. I've got one of these on my Kegland MK4 gas regulator. It's the gas out. I want to get another one - but what is it called? If I knew what it was, I'd be able to do a Google or ebay search. (Alternatively, where can I buy one.)

Re: Pressure regulator connection
Forget homebrew. That's standard stock.
Google "Female Barb Hose Fittings"
You will need to work out the size...

Thanks, Mashbag. They're coming up on my searches.
Re: [solved]Pressure regulator connection
Just for info... What size is it?
Re: [solved]Pressure regulator connection
I believe it to be 1/4". There was a John Guest connector included with the regulator, it's got a product code of (what appears to be) P NSF 51 46 3/8" on the end. I think that the 3/8" refers to the hose size. Still Googling the code, but the thread OD is approx 11mm
Re: [solved]Pressure regulator connection
Further research suggests that the John Guest fitting that I have is a "John Guest Female Adaptor 3/8 inch Tube OD x 1/4 FFL Thread" and the thing I am looking for is a "1/4" FFL 1/4" barbed swivel nut" which are readily available on ebay.

Smashing thanks.
Re: [solved]Pressure regulator connection
You might want to consider using these with them; they help prevent leaks with those fittings. They are available in the UK.man_beach wrote:Further research suggests that the John Guest fitting that I have is a "John Guest Female Adaptor 3/8 inch Tube OD x 1/4 FFL Thread" and the thing I am looking for is a "1/4" FFL 1/4" barbed swivel nut" which are readily available on ebay.
