I have four cornelius kegs which were damaged in a fire recently. I've yet to examine them, but know the rubber handles (and I guess bases) melted if the seals around the lids are OK, I'd like to eventually see if the beer inside is drinkable. They were all pressurised and I was wondering if anyone had any advice for transporting and storing them. I'm guessing the pressure can't have increased within the kegs, but obviously don't want to risk any accidents.
To be honest, I'm not expecting the beer to be drinkable, I'm just interested to see how such high temperatures will have affected the beers.

The pressure release valves and the poppet o-rings would have melted too so the beer will be flat.

Ahh, good point Trefoyl. I'm afraid everything burned down.
