Upgrading my kit

Post by Leard » Wed Dec 06, 2023 2:28 pm

I've been BIAB using a peco boiler, with a copper chiller, for a few years now. I think it's time to upgrade.

I'm considering a stainless steel kettle and doing a BIAB(asket) brews, with some sort of way of suspending the basket above the kettle so I can then sparge. I'm thinking a pump system as well, to recirculate during mash and whirlpool.

What set ups does everybody else have that are similar to this? And where can I buy it?

Considering what you're intentions are with the new kit, at this point you might as well buy a Brewzilla. It's basically doing everything you're talking about but Kegland have done all the engineering to make it work.

If you grab one from BrewKegTap they're quite reasonable at the moment...

Yeah this is the conclusion I came to after speaking with a few others. The BrewZilla Gen 4 looks very good, think I'll get myself that.

Before you get carried away, what are you planning to brew?
