Evening all.
I am building my all grain system and I am looking for a Herms coil that will go in my 100 ltr system.
If any one knows where I can get one or who can supply 12mm stainless steel coil I would be most grateful
Thanks Rich
Herms Coil
Re: Herms Coil
Angelhomebrew and brewbuilder do them I think
Re: Herms Coil
I have a surplus 12mm SS coil if you're still looking? (Was going to use as a cooling coil in the boiler but went down a different route). Yours for postage and a goodwill gesture...

Re: Herms Coil
Go copper, you can form it yourself easily, its 40X more efficient than SS at heat conducting (if i read the metric correctly)
And copper is a friendly metal for hot side of brewing, after brewing with a 100% ss brewkit i resorted to dropping a clean bit of copper tube into the boil kettle now, without it the beer lacked 'something' tho that could be all in my head too
a copper hex coil need only be a couple of meters or so in length too
so its a cheap and easy option
