My initial hunch is that I don't have the same issue, as my temp readings are very stable - they either work or they don't. Touch wood I have the issue resolved now but I'll let you know if a few brews (or less

Thanks - that is interesting and I will take a look to see if I have that setting (I have the SYL-2352).
