It Lives!

Post by Kev888 » Sun Mar 20, 2011 7:40 pm

Just thought I'd share a picture of a brave new world being created in my wet and dry vacuum hose:
Image
(Its blown up a bit, the hose is less than 2" diameter)

I use the vacuum for emptying hops from my boiler. As its used after brewing (not during or before) I only cleaned it by sucking through some fresh water. But even so, having seen this I don't want that coming anywhere near my brewing kit - I bumped the end whilst taking a photo and green/blue dust rose gently out, dispersing in the wind.. Eew

Cheers

It's probably filled with little spore people.

They probably sacrifice little spore lambs to you, their brewing diety, while chanting all hail Kev888.

Probably.
Needs more Cowbell.

Hmm, I'm going to feel bad about bleaching them now. Still, at least I left them my watch to keep them occupied :-)

You could be right - think it'll be a big tub of bleach tonight!!

Its going nowhere near my brewing setup before then, though looking back I should probably also have avoided breathing in any spores.. interesting how I prioritised there..

Seem to be under seige this week, first mould in my corny tap and now this in the vac hose, out in the garage. I'm not normally this lax, honest!!
