Container for star-san

Post by DeadFall » Fri Oct 12, 2012 1:32 pm

Hi,

I've just split payment on a 32oz bottle of star san and need a suitable container to put half of it into. The bottles they come in are HDPE, but would any decent plastic bottle do? I'm assuming glass would be a bad idea.

I presume most plastic should be fine, but thought glass would be ideal.
From memory it's what most of the acids in a lab are stored in (and StarSan is essentially 'just' phosphoric acid), just don't store it in a soft metal container or anything chlorine (like an old bleach container).
