W5 OXY POWER

Hi,
I just bought a kilo of W5 OXY POWER from Lidl for under 3 quid,
my question is does anyone else use this to clean their kit ? is it a standard akaline based cleaner ? and is it ok to use on stainless steel ?
I was following advice on Jims Beer Kit to use an Oxi - based cleaner, then rinse & use starsan.
the ingredients are : more than 30% Oxygen - Based Bleaching agents, Less than 5% Non - Ionic Surfactants, Anionic Surfactants. contains enzymes
is this stuff ok to use ?
(I will use gloves i think)

It looks to be basically the same as any of the Oxi cleaners. They are all based on Sodium Percarbonate as the active ingredient, so I am sure it will be fine.

Personally I just use Sodium Percarbonate, and I use it to clean everything, pumps, lines, plate chiller, stainless brewing vessels, corny kegs, fermenters etc...

Thanks Steve, it was advice from your post the other day saying you can get it in aldi near the washing powder that helped me find this stuff !

Our Aldi hasn't had it for ages. But you can get in other places cheap. Yours will be fine.

I just bought the one from Poundland - 1.2kg for £1.70 at the moment. It doesn't list enzymes though as an ingredient
