Cleaning stubborn bottles

Can anyone recommend a cleaning agent for soaking bottles that have a stubborn coating of yeast gunk in the bottom?

For badly encrusted bottles I use a hot VWP soak followed by a campden solution rinse.
Primary 1: Nonthing
Primary 2 : Nothing
Primary 3 : None
Secondary 1 : Empty
Secondary 1 : None
DJ(1) : Nowt
DJ(2) : N'otin....
In the Keg : Nada
Conditioning : Nowt
In the bottle : Cinnamonator TC, Apple Boost Cider, Apple & Strawberry Cider
Planning : AG #5 - Galaxy Pale (re-brew) / #6 - Alco-Brau (Special Brew Clone) / #7 Something belgian...
Projects : Mini-brew (12l brew length kit) nearly ready :D

+1 - And a decent bottle brush (which is surprisingly hard to find)

Some sharp sand & a little water(only a little) + funnel. Swirl & it works a treat.

These are for bottles given to mates who are too lazy to clean them - carrot & stick now - if u don't clean u don't get any more :)

A length of old brass lavatory chain swirled around while holding one end works a treat. The chain is easy to clean and sterilise too.
