Can anyone recommend a cleaning agent for soaking bottles that have a stubborn coating of yeast gunk in the bottom?

For badly encrusted bottles I use a hot VWP soak followed by a campden solution rinse.

In the Keg : Nada
Conditioning : Nowt

Some sharp sand & a little water(only a little) + funnel. Swirl & it works a treat.
These are for bottles given to mates who are too lazy to clean them - carrot & stick now - if u don't clean u don't get any more

A length of old brass lavatory chain swirled around while holding one end works a treat. The chain is easy to clean and sterilise too.
