Greetings all, can someone tell me if Star san is calculated in US gallons? i presumed it was.

Do you mean the dilution rate ?

If so then use a ratio of 1.6ml of Starsan per litre of water*


* the type of water is important. Tesco Ashbeck still bottled water has the right characteristics. I buy a 5L bottle and add 8ml of Starsan to it.

Thanks Andy, I converted US to Litres but I wasn't sure if it was right or not as the address on the back was US .

I thought litres is litres, it's gallons that's different. Or am I missing something :shock:

1/4 U.S. Oz to a 5l bottle is close enough. Just use the 1/4 marking on the bottle.
