Citric Acid

How much citric acid per litre for cleaning elements. I've got it in powder.

Well, without any science at all, I sprinkle a couple of tea spoons of citric granules over the element when it's wet and the acid gets right to work. I leave it a short while and loosen the crud with a nylon scotch pad before rinsing, comes up like new every time. Best time is whe you've just finished your brew and the gunk is soft as I've found.
