cleaning my stainless steel kegs

Post by soneil8 » Thu Aug 06, 2015 4:57 pm

Hi,

Can anyone reccommend what I should use to clean the inside of my stainless steel sankey beer kegs?

I have not given them a through clean since I started using them and I was advised to clean them with an acid regularly to avoid 'beerstone' buildup.

Any ideas what I should use, and how I use it?

Ta,

Rinse with water to get the gunk out. Then PBW or oxiclean followed by water. Then starsan before refilling with beer. If leaving empty, pressurise slightly with CO2 for storage
