Boiler Element Descaling

So.. i managed to score this..


..off ebay and it has a substantial amount of limescale inside



de-scaling agent added to a boil, then a pure water boil then a rinse should have it looking better and ready to brew, am i correct?
Anyone know where i'd get the citric acid in S. Tyneside?

You'll find it even cheaper for 5KG on ebay. Here it's £17.49 including delivery, as opposed to £21.15 including delivery from that cosmetics link.
We'll be getting it for nowt if we keep going at this.
