Formic Acid

Hi.

I've recently discovered you can purchase 40% formic acid from Boots in the form of "ATAKA" kettle descaler.

I'm presuming it's OK to use on kettles considering it's purpose, but is there anything that should stop me from using it to clean my IC?

How many ants did You have to squeeze per litre

Can't find anything to suggest any kind of toxicity problems

Not worried about the toxicity of the acid itself, more about any possible evolved salts or whatnot that are toxic.

I've just cleaned the IC with it, so hopefully i won't die next time i brew. ;)
