coopers european lager

hi all, for my second batch i bought a coopers european lager. on the tin it says leave in bottle for 3 months. so i though, thirsty man hear, i can`t wait 3 months. so i took it back to exchange for a 3 weeker.
the lady in the hb shop told me it would be ready to drink in 3 weeks and they just write 3 months on the tin as maximum.
so, would it be ok to drink in 3 weeks time.

You could drink it, and it'd probably taste OK. It won't taste its best until ltater though.
