Preparing to sling together Four FV's today. I habitually give the top of the freezer ~ my work top ~ a salutary blast of the 'Brown Water'. What ever 'Odine it is we buy and make up. Rinseless stuff.
Reached into the cupboard under the sink. Grabbed the nearest 'Mist Sprayer' bottle. Aimed it at the freezer ~ Was that a niggle there ....? Hit the trigger and nothing happened. Stopped. Thought. Flicked up the cover over the nozzle. Fired her again and got a good soaking of the work top. Great!
Put that away and got on with stripping the paper wrappers off four kit tins.
Lah di dah dee daah ..... Spots the Real f***ing 'Odine mist sprayer, sat there on the sink work top! Horror of Horrors!
So, I've just sprayed god alone knows what rank, basic f**king 'Disinfectant' all over my freezer top work station! I mean, this is stuff knocked up for if a Dog gets caught short on the concrete, or something. Detol? Savlon? God knows! Thank christ I at least keep my Jeyes Fluid clearly marked.
Thankfully, it was all harmless fun. Nothing was transferred from that freezer top to the beer. Best of all? I spotted the mistake Before I sprayed my 'Paint Mixer' thing with god knows what, then whirled that into pushing 20 Gallons of beer!
Close run thing though. What if I habitually used the 'Odine stuff to sanitise my FV's? I'd likely be in tears right now!
